Research
Introduction
In order to achieve a high quality final product from my practical work, I first need to ascertain a good amount of knowledge that details the professional practices of the Foley and sound effects industry. Gathering this information through this documented research will help me do this. I can break down what I need to study into different categories based on my progression and the order I record and edit sounds in the studio. These categories might include:

Microphone Choice, Usage, Recording Techniques, and Soundstaging

Foley "Recipes": How to achieve specific sound effects with specific materials

Field Recording for Ambient Sounds

Cutting and timing techniques in Logic Pro’s playlist

Effects usage and equalisation (EQ) of recordings

Balancing and Mastering the Final Product
My research may not be exclusively in these categories either. I will likely come across aspects of Foley production that I’m currently unaware of that will need dedicated research of its own. I will very likely run into problems in my project, which may require specific research to fix.
